I’m Alexa, a proud Richmond native, full-time working professional, wife, and mother to three energetic little boys. Life is wonderfully chaotic, and while I thrive in the whirlwind, art has always been my constant.

Growing up, I didn’t just want to be an artist—I was one. If there was a surface, I painted on it. Walls, furniture, clothes, even my friends’ clothes—if it could hold paint, it was fair game. At school, I was the “artsy one,” constantly covered in paint and ideas. When it came time for college, I knew I wanted to dive deeper into art. My heart said studio art, but my dad’s practical side said, “Let’s aim for something with a real job at the end.” So, off I went to study business, and while I’ve built a fulfilling career, the urge to create never left me.

Fast forward to today, and I’m still painting on every surface I can find. Over the years, I’ve turned my passion into a growing hobby, creating for friends, family, and referrals. As we usher in a new year, I decided it was time to stop daydreaming and start living my dream. So here we are!

I work in a variety of mediums and formats, including murals, hand-painted wallpaper, furniture refinishing, and traditional paints like oils, pastels, and acrylics. For my next chapter, I'm focusing on abstract acrylics, oils, and charcoal portraiture—because why choose between the two when I love them both so much?

Oh, and I can’t forget to introduce my loyal studio assistant, Teddy, my golden doodle, who is always by my side..

Thank you for being here and supporting me on this journey! I’m excited to share what’s next, and I’m so grateful to have you along for the ride.

Let’s create something beautiful together!
